EVENT ASSISTANT (internship)

FULL TIME

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. 6 month internship

Salary: subject to experience.

EE Live is Scotland’s foremost electronic music promoter, responsible for the incredibly successful Terminal V brand as well as bringing the likes of other global events to Scotland inc Hot Dub Time Machine, Trick, el row and much more to Scotland’s Capital City. The company also owns and operates Scotland wide club brand Nightvision.

Since its inception in 2017, Terminal V has experienced exponential growth with 5k people attending to the upcoming 10th edition in April 2024 which will see 40,000 attend over the weekend.

Job Description

An exciting position has become available in our Leith office for a highly motivated, yet easy going and approachable individual who is keen to gain experience and knowledge of how a music festival operates.

Our company is offering an internship in the event planning team, mainly focused on artist logistics, to support the team in organising international artists travel, accommodation, ground transport and ensuring their hospitality needs are met, this is a demanding task and integral to the event running smoothly.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Creating artist itineraries
  • Researching transport routes
  • Liaising with hotel partners.
  • Building relationships with key contacts
  • Identifying information inaccuracies
  • Creating stage specific / event Info packs
  • Assisting with ground transport schedule
  • Collating / researching specific hospitality requests
  • Monitoring progress of artist advancement process
  • Other event planning related tasks

Key skills/Experience

  • Currently studying or recently completed an Event management course or relevant experience
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A keen interest and strong knowledge of electronic music
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience in google suite
  • Meticulous organising skills
